How to register as an individual entrepreneur

When creating a business, each entrepreneur is faced with the choice of the legal form of the company. If you decide to open a small store, it is advisable to register with the tax office as an individual entrepreneur. Of course, there are pros and cons. For example, registering IPs is simpler.

First of all, collect a package of documents for company registration. It includes the following forms:

- copies of all pages of your passport;

- copy of TIN certificate;

- receipt of state duty;

- application in the form No. Р21001;

- a contact sheet.

And now about each in more detail. After making copies of the passport, fold them in order, sew and number the sheets. To avoid problems with the tax authorities, certify copies with a notary public. Make a copy of the registration certificate.

Fill out the application. Enter the last name, first name and patronymic of the entrepreneur in Russian and English. Enter gender below, enter birth information. Affix citizenship by ticking the appropriate box. In the next section, you must provide information about the place of residence and contact phone number.

To fill out section 8, you need to determine the economic activity code, that is, what you want to do. Each activity has its own specific code, which you can see in the OKVED directory. Let's say you want to open a retail store selling cosmetics and perfumes. In this case, enter code 52.33.1 in section 8.

Next, you must indicate the passport details of the entrepreneur and, if available, the TIN number. Sign the application only in the presence of a notary, as he must assure your signature.

Then go to the branch of Sberbank, where they accept payments. Provide a passport and pay the state fee for registration of IP (currently it is 800 rubles).

Fill out a sheet with your contact information, fill in the following information: actual address of residence, mobile and home phone number, as well as email address.

Get a folder folder. Attach to it all of the above documents, including the originals (but you do not need to give them away, you just need to show them to the inspector). Submit them to the tax office, which is located at your registration address. Registration of individual entrepreneurs with the tax authorities takes 5 business days. Be sure to ask the inspector to write a receipt on the receipt of documents.

Upon completion of registration, you will receive from the Federal Tax Service a certificate of registration with the tax authority, a notice of registration of the individual entrepreneur with registration and extract from the Unified State Register of Taxes and Entrepreneurship. If you want to apply a simplified taxation system, immediately after registration fill out the form No. 26.2-1 (this must be done within 5 days).
