How to create a nonprofit organization

To create a non-profit organization, you will need to prepare a package of documents established by the Federal Law "On Non-Profit Organizations" and submit it to the authorized body for registration. Registration is an analysis of documents, making a decision on registration, entering information about a new non-profit organization in the Unified State Register of Legal Entities (USRLE). On average, registration takes less than a month.

According to the law, a non-profit organization is an organization that does not have a profit as the main goal of its activity and does not distribute profit among its participants. Such organizations are created to achieve social, cultural, educational and other similar goals. You can create them in various forms provided for by laws - for example, in the form of a religious organization, public association, non-profit partnership, etc.

A non-profit organization is considered created from the moment of its state registration. Such organizations must be registered with the Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation. Further information about them is entered in the register. For registration, submit to the territorial body of the Ministry of Justice a set of documents established by law by the deadline, no later than three months from the date of the decision to create.

The authorized body is obliged to make a decision on the state registration of a non-profit organization not later than fourteen business days from the date of receipt of its documents. After making such a decision, it is necessary to consider your organization as created.
