How to recover IP

It is impossible to restore IP in Russia. However, the current legislation does not prohibit a citizen who previously had this status and closed the IP from registering as an entrepreneur again and starting his business from scratch. The procedure is completely similar to the initial registration.

The procedure for registering an IP is absolutely the same, regardless of the time it is passed by a particular citizen. He must fill out an application, assure him of a notary public, pay the state duty and submit the documents to the tax office. Depending on the region, this may be the same tax office where it is registered at the address of registration at the place of residence, or a separate registration inspection.

You can clarify this issue using the IFTS search service on the website of the Federal Tax Service of Russia. If the registration inspection is present in the results, the documents must be carried into it.

The procedure for filling out an application for registration for those who already had experience of being in the IP status is familiar and has not undergone any special changes in recent years. You only need to fill in the columns related to the case of a particular entrepreneur in the sections intended for filling, and indicate the OKVED codes in the quantity necessary for your case, if necessary, add the required number of sheets to the section dedicated to them.

The completed application is certified by a notary. The price of his services in the case when you register the IP is not the first time, may be higher than during the initial passage of this procedure.

After being certified by a notary, affix the sheets of the application, on the back, in the place of fastening, affix the paper with the date, number of sheets and your signature.

Pay the state fee for registration of IP. You can do this in any branch of Sberbank, and you can generate a receipt using the service for creating payment orders on the website of the Federal Tax Service of Russia (just remember to choose the receipt for payment in cash, and not the payment for transferring from a bank account).

Often you can get a receipt at the tax office, details for payment are also available on the website of the regional Federal Tax Service.

With a ready-made package of documents, visit the tax office. If everything is all right with them, within five days a certificate of state registration of the IP and an extract from the Unified State Register of Enterprises will be ready.

Useful advice

In some regions, the closure of the IP and its subsequent registration again can be a tricky move, allowing you to get government support for starting and developing a business. To do this, the applicant for the subsidy usually must be registered at the employment center at least a day between the closing of the old IP and the registration of the new one.
