A draft beer store is a good type of business for a novice entrepreneur, since it does not require large initial costs or extensive experience. Five hundred thousand rubles will be enough to rent a retail space and purchase commercial equipment for launch. However, they will pay off only if you have thought through your beer sales strategy thoroughly enough.

Try to imagine a place where the sale of draft beer is sure to be profitable. As practice shows, draft beer is not in great demand in the most lively and crowded places - they buy it to drink slowly, and not on the go, like bottled beer. Therefore, the best option for you is to open a live beer store in a densely populated area of the city.

Look for an area for rent in the appropriate place - a couple of tens of square meters will be enough. Sign a lease by registering as an individual entrepreneur. Now the matter remains with the permission of the trade department of the local administration, the permits of the Federal Service for Supervision of Consumer Rights Protection and Human Welfare and Fire Inspection.

Arrange with one or more beer suppliers - manufacturers or wholesale distributors in your area. The whole further organization of beer sales will depend on the chosen model of working with suppliers. If you work with one specific manufacturer, it will most likely provide you with all the equipment necessary for the retail sale of beer.

Take care of a reliable partner - even if you intend to personally work in your beer boutique, you will need another vendor who will replace you. To motivate sales staff, pay not only a fixed salary, but also a percentage of daily revenue. The most important quality of an employee involved in retail trade (including beer trade) is honesty.

Do not forget that the sale of beer, including draft beer, is greatly influenced by the seasonal factor - in summer sales volumes increase several times, and the profit received during the summer allows you to cover annual rental costs and salaries for staff.
