1

Create a name for the future nursery. Check it for employment. Come up with a second, backup name in case the first one is suddenly taken at the last moment. Register your future nursery with a local organization depending on the type of animals you plan to breed. For example, if these are dogs, register a kennel with an organization representing the Russian Cynological Federation.

2

Choose a location for the future nursery. Ideally, this should be a country house with a large surrounding area. Fresh air is essential for animal health. In the absence of the ability to immediately rent or buy a house, some animals can be raised in the apartment, for example, dogs or cats. The size of the nursery depends on your plans. It will be good if it has a reserve for further expansion.

3

Divide the area defined by the nursery into several zones, depending on the needs of the animals. For example, if you plan to breed the person’s best friends, keep in mind when planning that there should be at least three zones in the kennel: for puppies, for adults and for sick animals. These zones must be non-communicating. Separate stalls are required for horses. Get the equipment you need for the nursery. Our lesser friends should feel good and comfortable in it. Get for them everything you need not only for growing, but also for cases of illness.

4

Get a female / female that will be the basis for future offspring in your kennel. The animal must be thoroughbred, have in the pedigree of the ancestors noted at official exhibitions. Each animal and each breed has its own requirements. Study them and follow the recommendations of the breeders.
