Next, follow the link "Stock Quotes", where you will find the cost of securities. Information is received from the MICEX (Moscow Interbank Currency Exchange) with a 15% delay. Multiply the number of stocks you have by the price. This ends the pleasant part of the question. Since, as a result of the reorganization, RAO UES split into several companies, each stake will have to be sold separately (at least 26). To do this, update your details in the register of shareholders for each organization. The cost of selling each package will be at least 1000 rubles (payment of public services for registration), and this is not counting your labor and time. Therefore, it is very important to calculate in advance how much you can get as a result of the sale in order to decide whether it is worth undertaking it at all.

If it so happens that you do not know the number of securities, you can see them in the ballot papers. These documents should have been mailed every year. If there are no ballots, it means that your data (address, passport number) were incorrectly indicated in the register of shareholders and the matter becomes much more complicated. You need to write a letter to the Central Moscow Securities Depository, which, prior to the reorganization, kept a register of RAO UES with a request for a certificate on the number of shares (indicating full information about yourself). In the worst case scenario, you will have to prove the existence of shares through the courts.
