How to get a license for a beauty salon

In order to open a beauty salon, a license is not required. But in order to provide cosmetic services, you need to get permission for certain types of activities. You will need to get a medical license. This license is needed if you plan to carry out procedures related to skin damage in your beauty salon. Any haircut, manicure, pedicure, nail extension - these are procedures in which there is a risk of injuring the client.

To obtain a medical license, you need a large list of documents by order of the Ministry of Health No. 142 of April 29, 1998 "On the list of types of medical activities subject to licensing." It is in this legislative act that the need for a license for a beauty salon is indicated.

Collect the following documents:

- A copy of the certificate of state registration of the organization as a legal entity;

- copies of constituent documents - position, charter and memorandum of association;

- A copy of a letter or certificate of registration with the tax police;

- copies of documents on the right to own or use the premises for a beauty salon;

- copy (s) of all licenses you already have;

- The conclusion from TsGSEN of your city (the original and a copy);

- conclusion of the fire service on the compliance of the premises for cosmetic activities with the requirements of fire safety (original);

- explanatory note - a brief description of the alleged medical activity.

- copies of certificates of your professional suitability in a beauty salon: diploma of education, certificates of specialization, etc. etc. (with the presentation of the original, if the copy is not certified by a notary);

- a bank payment order or a copy of the receipt of license fee payment.

For all the information provided in the documents, you are responsible by law. All documents that you collected to obtain a license will be accepted from you according to the inventory, and a copy of it with the date of receipt of the documents should be in your hands (it will be sent to you after receiving the documents). This will be an additional guarantee of your actions.

All copies of the collected documents under paragraphs 1-4 must be certified by a notary. If you present copies without a notarization, you must show the original document.
