How to open a bike school

Cycling only seems to be simple and straightforward. In fact, so that the bike tours do not lead to disastrous results, you need to undergo a whole course of training in a specialized school. Moreover, today they open in almost all cities of Russia.

To open your bike school, you need to consider many different details and nuances. First of all, it is necessary to solve the issue with the room where the theoretical tasks will be held. After all, learning to ride a bicycle is unthinkable without knowledge of the basics - the rules of the road, the rules of behavior in pedestrian zones, the technical characteristics of a bicycle, the basics of vehicle repair, etc. So, for example, it’s ideal if your bike school has a separate office where there will be posters promoting traffic regulations. It is also advisable to organize a separate room for practical acquaintance with the bicycle. There should be one prototype, on which it will be possible to learn how to fix technical malfunctions, etc.

The second point that you need to take care of before opening the school is visual agitation: posters, mannequins, practical aids, etc. All this will help you give your students deeper and more useful knowledge.

The staff also needs to be selected very carefully. You will need teachers on the basics of road safety, craftsmen who can repair any damage to the bicycle, an instructor for emergency medical care. If your school is supposed to teach extreme cycling, respectively, you will need a specialist in this area.

Your school should be equipped with bicycles to practice practical riding skills. Moreover, it is desirable that the test races were not in a crowded place. Therefore, if possible, organize at least a small velodrome near the school.

Then it remains to calculate the price of training, take care of advertising and you can start. The ideal number of students in a group is 10 people. It will be easier for teachers to answer all the questions that arise, and it will be easier for students to learn the material. If there are more people interested, make a schedule so that the groups do not coincide in time.
