How to open a representative office in Kazakhstan

Representation is a separate division of a legal entity. His tasks include monitoring the observance of the interests of the company in the territory of another region or state.

Make a decision at the general meeting of the founders of the company to open a representative office in the Republic of Kazakhstan. Approve the provision on a new separate division. Choose the head and chief accountant of the representative office.

Contact a notary public. Make a power of attorney addressed to the head of the representative office. Translate into Kazakh and notarize all documents, namely: - a power of attorney; - the decision of the meeting of the founders to open a representative office; - copies of the constituent documents of the legal entity; - the Unified State Register of Legal Entities (or an extract from the commercial register); - information about the address of the representative office (room registration certificate, sales contract or lease, etc.); - documents proving the identity of the heads and employees of the representative office; - TIN of the head and chief accountant.

Present all collected documents and an application for opening a representative office in the Center for Public Services. In connection with measures to tighten the fight against pseudo-entrepreneurship and the amendments made to the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan on December 8, 2009, one of the founders of the company must submit an application. Pay the state fee for the registration of the representative office to the account of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

After 7 working days, receive the documents in the PSC: - certificate of registration of the representative office; - stamp; - statistical card; - taxpayer certificate in the Republic of Kazakhstan (TRN).

Contact one of the banks in the Republic of Kazakhstan where you will be served. Write a statement where you provide all the information about the company and the representative office. Open an account in rubles or another currency. Get the details and the bank service agreement.

Despite the fact that the representative office does not have the right to independent entrepreneurial activity, you can nevertheless provide paid consulting and reference services on the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
