If there are more than 8 seats in the car, your drivers must have a certificate with an open category "D". You can obtain a license for passenger transportation at the territorial branch of the Federal Service for Supervision in the Field of Transport. Regardless of whether you will use your own minibuses or rent a transport, to obtain a license you will need:

- constituent documents of your company (charter, certificate of individual entrepreneur or legal entity, extract from the EGRIP or the USRLE, lease agreement for the office and garage box, passport of the general director of the enterprise, power of attorney if a notarized person applies for a license);

- documents of drivers (driver’s licenses, medical certificates, work books confirming the experience in passenger transportation for at least three years);

- CTP policy for each car;

- TRP coupon;

- passport of technical equipment;

- a certificate confirming the registration of a technical tool in the traffic police;

- rental agreement, if you plan to work on a rented vehicle;

- details of the bank with which you have concluded a service agreement;

- An agreement with a licensed medical officer who will conduct a pre-trip inspection of all drivers;

- an agreement with a technical center.

The license is issued for a period of 5 years. After this period of time, you will need to extend it, presenting a fresh package of all these documents.

Do not forget that at present, according to the decree of the government of the Russian Federation, all fixed-route taxis and buses must be equipped with the Russian GLONASS navigation system and tachographs, which will help to track travel time, the speed with which public passenger transport traveled. Non-compliance with the rules entails huge fines. The cost of equipment does not exceed 70-100 thousand rubles.
