How to organize your service center

Services for the repair of household appliances in Russia are specific, which was not even affected by the fact that for a dozen years the largest manufacturers of this equipment have been working in the local market, providing their customers with warranty repairs. Even if the workshop is authorized, it functions, most likely, according to the good old artisan principle, when the master undertakes to perform almost any work.

This choice for masters with experience is often not worth it - narrow specialization simply does not pay off, and direct cooperation with the company occurs on conditions that are disadvantageous for you. Organize a “base” for your service center where you will be able to receive calls and answer customer questions. Get the tool that you may need in your work (most workshops cost you what they can easily find in any garage). An experienced master who will work for you knows perfectly well what he will need and will tell you about it. And the owner of the workshop, as a rule, is himself one of its masters. It remains only to decide who will perform the function of a telephone operator - in order not to be distracted from work by themselves, this can be entrusted to one of the female relatives.

Have at your disposal a motor vehicle suitable for transporting large-sized household appliances (refrigerators, electric stoves, washing machines) - not every client will be able to deliver such a device to the workshop on their own.

Invest some money in advertising - print and distribute leaflets in your area, post the ads, give information to the newspaper, and after some time all the surrounding residents will know about your workshop.
