Register with the tax authorities IP or LLC. Get statistics codes at Rosstat. At the moment, no license or permission from the traffic police is required to open a car service. The only thing that will need to be issued on a mandatory basis is certificates of conformity for each type of service.

Find a workshop room. Best of all - on the highway, not far from a garage cooperative or a gas station. The room should already have a viewing hole (or a special lift). If it is not equipped, you will have to negotiate its arrangement with the landlord. Contact the sanitary and fire service so that the experts after inspecting the room will write you a positive opinion about its condition. Therefore, your workshop must meet all the norms and requirements of SanPin, which you need to familiarize yourself with in advance.

Purchase or rent equipment, tools and materials. Newly organized private car repair shops usually specialize in performing the most popular types of work: oil change, minor engine repairs, and tire fitting. In order to compare favorably with competitors, which are numerous in any locality, do not save and buy good equipment from foreign manufacturers. In addition, such equipment will help you perform work not only efficiently, but also quickly, which will be a plus for your workshop and will provide you with a steady flow of customers.

To repair many imported cars, you will need special programmable stands that are only available to authorized dealers, so it’s better not to risk it and open a repair service for domestic cars.

To attract regular customers, set reasonable prices for services, but do not dump, otherwise you will have to, firstly, constantly defend against competitors, and secondly, work around the clock to at least somehow offset the costs.

To find excellent specialists for the workshop, try to talk with them face to face and offer better conditions than those on which they are currently working (and do not even doubt that high-level specialists never sit without work). Some may be interested in a high salary or interest on orders, others - a large amount of work that you will be required to provide them.

Contact the RCC office and submit the documents: - certified copies of constituent documents; - certificate of registration of IP / LLC; - extract from the EGRIP / Unified State Register of Legal Entities; - statistics codes; - certified copy of the certificate of right to non-residential premises received by you from the lessor; - contract rental premises; - positive opinions from the sanitary and fire services; - list of equipment available in the workshop.
