Officially, the procedure for removing IPs from an account is called IP closure. If you have made a decision to terminate your business, you are required to fill out an application in the prescribed form, pay a state duty, carry documents to the tax, and then pay off taxes and social contributions.

Fill out the application for closing IP form P26001. It can be found on the Internet or taken at any tax office. Do not put a signature on the application, it is better to do this in the presence of a notary who will certify it (a notary visa on the document is required).

The state duty for closing IP in 2011 is 160 p. Details for the transfer can be found in the tax office, a branch of Sberbank or generate a receipt on the website of the Federal Tax Service of Russia using the service "Form a payment." Payment is best done through Sberbank, but it is also possible from the settlement account of the IP (you can close it even after the official termination of business).

Hand over documents to the tax office. Within 12 days from the date of IP closure, you must contact the district office of the Pension Fund with a passport and a certificate of state registration of termination of activity as an IP. You will be calculated the amount of the fixed contributions that you must pay, and will be issued receipts. You can pay through Sberbank.

Then you should close the current account of the IP and, if you used a cash register, remove it from the register.

You will also have to declare the income received from entrepreneurial activity and pay tax on it. If there was no income, file a zero return. But there is still enough time for this - until April 30 of next year.
