How to check the founder

You can check who is part of the founders of an enterprise by using an extract from the Unified State Register of Legal Entities (USRLE), which contains information including about the founders. An official extract from the Unified State Register of Legal Entities can be obtained at any tax office after submitting a request and presenting a receipt for payment of state duty.

You will need

• - data on the company for which an extract from the Unified State Register of Legal Entities is required (name, legal address, TIN, OGRN);

• - a request for an extract;

• - receipt of payment of state duty;

• - a passport and a power of attorney in his name (the second is necessary if the statement will be received by an authorized person).

Make a request to the tax office indicating its number, your data (name or company name, registration address or legal address, TIN, PSRN, if any), a request for an extract and the data of the company to which it is required (name, legal address, TIN, BIN). Sign the document and certify it with your seal, if any.

Pay the state fee for providing an extract. Its size in 2011 is 400 p. Details for payment you can find on the website of the Federal Tax Service of Russia in your region, find out in the tax office or branch of Sberbank.

If an employee of your company who does not have the right to present it without a power of attorney will hand over and receive documents, issue a power of attorney for it and assure it with a seal and signature. He must present it with his passport when submitting documents and receiving an extract. If you make a request on behalf of an individual or have the right to represent the company without a power of attorney and do everything yourself, your passport is enough.

Hand over documents to the tax office and in due time (from 1 to 5 days) get the result. All information about the founders will be in the appropriate section of the extract.
