How to drill a well

Residents of the private sector have to independently improve their homes, digging septic tanks, wells, paying for services to construction organizations for the installation of gas pipelines. And if you can still do without a pipeline with methane using cylinders, then it is impossible to make your life convenient without a water supply. There is no water, there is no drain for sewage, and, therefore, the convenience in the yard will only complicate life. What to do if it is not possible to bring water pipes from high-rise buildings, and the desire for comfort is so great that you are ready to pay any amount, if only in your kitchen there is not a washstand, but a tap?

Decide on your own whether you will work to deepen the well or hire drillers.

Choose the place where you will be drilling. Clear. Buy the required number of water pipes of various diameters and wall thicknesses.

Calculation of footage is carried out taking into account the desired depth of the well. Remember that the state prohibits drilling to a depth of more than 50 meters.

Prepare the drilling tool. Install a drill prepared for the well with drill pipes mounted on its end into the recess. Alternate the pipes depending on the recess in the well.

If you intend to make the well rotary, clamp the drill pipes in the rotational assist device. Turn on the installation and start the rotation-recess.

If instead of a rotor and drill pipes you have an auger installation, prepare a place for the dump of the extracted soil. This method is mainly used when drilling wells for water supply.

Use flushing fluid to clean drilling rig mechanisms and parts.

Drill either at a right angle or at an acute angle. Remember that with an inclined method of drilling, the well crumbles faster, so do not hesitate to install the pipeline.

Perform independent drilling of a well only if you have both the appropriate permission for the work and the necessary qualifications.

Useful advice

Why a well, not a well? The extraction of water from the well will allow the use of only those groundwater that passes closest to the upper layers of the soil. The ecological situation is such that a sample of liquid from a well may contain such a set of impurities that make water unsuitable for drinking. And to keep a whole well for technical needs is inconvenient, as well as after recognizing the water as worthless, get rid of the pit.
