Hotel services are in demand today in all major cities, but not every tourist or company sending a “foreign land” to their employee will be able to pay for accommodation in central city hotels. You can take advantage of this and take a relatively free niche by opening a small hotel yourself.

And you can buy the space in the housing stock, and then convert it and transfer it to a non-residential fund - the latter is a prerequisite for legitimizing the hotel.

Proceed, if you somehow "got" a room for your purposes, to the lengthy procedure of registering a new hotel and going through many formalities. If the building previously served other purposes, it is mandatory to develop and agree on a project for its redevelopment in a number of instances (after you transfer it to a non-residential fund, if these are former apartments). Then proceed to this very redevelopment, and upon completing the work, collect permits from a number of technical inspections and conclude agreements with utilities, whose services you will naturally use.

Begin the next long and demanding business - the interior design of the hotel, as well as its associated selection and purchase of hotel equipment. What should be guided by equipping a mini-hotel? First of all, the fact that even mid-level rooms should look perfect. Let the interior elements (furniture, plumbing) and household items (linen, dishes) be inexpensive, but always perfectly clean, new in appearance and functionally full.

Finally, lay the last monumental stone in the organization of the hotel that you started - set up such a personnel management system that will work smoothly from the very beginning and in the future, without failures. This means more than just staffing. You must have a talent pool and training. In addition to the manager, work at the hotel is for several administrators, several maids and a staff member who manages the reservation. It is also worth entrusting a professional with accounting.

Until your hotel is widely known, the influx of customers can provide a mutually beneficial agreement with a travel agency that accommodates groups of tourists.
A mandatory requirement for the qualification of the hotel administrator is knowledge of a foreign (read - English) language, and if you do not have English speaking staff, you will encounter situations that do not honor your establishment.
