Commercial activity in the transportation of passengers in our country is regulated by regulatory acts and laws of the Russian Federation. If you want to put "GAZelle" on the route, you must first obtain a transport license from local municipal authorities.

Federal Law N 80-ФЗ dated July 2, 2005 regulates the carriage of passengers on a commercial basis. In particular, the activity and organization of a fixed-route taxi. According to this law, the commercial activity of automobile transport equipped for transporting 8 or more people is currently subject to licensing.

To be guaranteed to get a transport license, you need to follow some requirements. Namely: - comply with all the norms and requirements stipulated by the relevant regulatory acts; - comply with the requirements of the rules for operating vehicles; - your vehicle must belong to you by right of ownership; - have qualified employees who have passed the traffic police certification.

You need to apply for a license with the appropriate municipal authority. Then proceed to the collection of necessary documents. You will need: - notarized copies of the constituent documents (charter or constituent agreement), certificate of state registration as an individual entrepreneur, certificate of registration with the tax authority, GAZelle registration documents; - road safety certificate (original); - payment order confirming payment of the license fee (original).

After providing all of the above documents, you need to be patient. The procedure for issuing a license may take up to 30 days, after which the licensing authority makes a decision. Simultaneously with the license, you will be issued a license card for a period of 5 years, which must always be on a fixed-route taxi.

The main document is received! Now you need to issue a new route. The department of transport of the city administration deals with such issues.
Useful advice
Keep in mind that the transport department may refuse to arrange a new route for you, having motivated it with various reasons. But they will offer to work on one of the existing ones.
