For many, the kiosk selling groceries and tobacco products is the first step in entrepreneurial activity. This type of retail does not require large investments and solving complex organizational issues - you can start such a business even without special experience.

You will need

  • - certificate of registration of IP, permission of the local administration, fire inspection and Rospotrebnadzor;

  • -finished "box" of the kiosk;

  • -one or two successive seller-seller.

Instruction manual

1

Choose a place in the city in which, with high traffic, there would still be few points like the one you are planning to organize. It is clear that the task is not so simple at all - the competition among small retail stalls is great, but cities are gradually changing - new business centers are opening up, recently sparsely populated streets are becoming crowded places. A well-chosen place for a stall is already at least half of its success in the future.

2

Register as an individual entrepreneur and apply to the local administration - you can install a kiosk in the city only by agreement with one or more of its departments. As a rule, the department of architecture and urban planning and the department of commerce should give their approval.

3

Find an offer that suits you and buy a “box” of kiosk - today there are many companies that manufacture and sell such structures. The kiosk can be new, "straight away", or it may already be seen, at an economical price. Having equipped the outlet, you will get permission from the Fire Inspection and Rospotrebnadzor - only after that all formal issues can be considered settled.

4

Hire an implementer if you are not going to work at your kiosk daily. The search for a reliable seller is a headache for owners of small retail stalls, a person "from the outside" always poses a considerable threat to such a business. Motivate the seller not only with salary, but also with percentage of revenue, otherwise your trade will go more than sluggishly.

Useful advice

Try your best to accumulate funds for opening a second and then a third point of sale - only a few stalls will allow you to reach a more or less stable level and feel confident.
