How to open a machine-building plant

Opening an engineering plant is an incredibly difficult task both in terms of financing and organization. At least one year will pass from the moment a decision is made to open the conveyor before the start of work.

The first step towards the launch of the plant will be the conclusion of contracts with the selected automaker. The contract will spell out which models will be assembled, in what quantity the necessary units will be delivered, how many units of production it is planned to produce and, of course, in which region of the world they will be sold. Coordination of all clauses of the contract will take several months.

Each automobile concern that produces cars for everyday driving, tries to deploy production as close as possible to the interested regions. Such cooperation has been a global trend for decades. So in Russia, Opel, Nissan, Renault, Chevrolet and other well-known brands are assembled for subsequent sale in the country.

The second incredibly important point will be the choice of the site for starting the conveyor. Firstly, it must comply with all the parameters provided for in the development plan. That is, it should be possible to supply the required amount of electricity, water. And secondly, the possibility of renting and construction must be coordinated with local authorities and control services, such as the fire department, sanitary and epidemiological station, gorgaz, etc.
