Choose which musical direction may interest not only you, but especially the potential audience in your city. Economic factors can also affect the success of your company: no one will pay a lot of money for a ticket if companies in your region do not pay salaries for six months, because entertainment is not the most important expense item for Russian citizens.

Since any self-respecting performer, group, symphony orchestra and even folk choir already have their own agents, you will have to contact them. Finding contacts is easy: just go to the official website of the artists whose performance you want to organize.

Call the agents, introduce yourself and find out how the upcoming tour schedule of the artist will be planned, and whether there is an opportunity to include your city in this list. And only then start a conversation about the possible amount of the fee, which, by and large, will be the main part of your expenses for organizing a concert.

If the preliminary negotiations went off with a bang, prepare an agreement and fax it for signing. Please note: often agents require a prepayment in confirmation of the seriousness of your intentions. You can agree to this condition, however, transferring money to the specified account should not be earlier than you receive the signed agreement and check the authenticity of the autograph.

Lease, depending on the rider of the performers, a club, a concert hall or a stadium, coordinating all issues not only with the owners of the venue, but also with the city administration. Organize the stage according to the technical rider, for which you rent the equipment necessary for the concert. Do not forget about security.

Take care of advertising the upcoming concert and information support. Find event sponsors. Order outdoor advertising (posters, banners). Organize ticket sales. In order to generate additional income, some producers also arrange dinner with the stars after the concert, distributing invitations (of course, not free of charge) among the local elite. Decide if you can make money on it too.

Book hotel rooms and plane or train tickets for performers and their attendants. Make sure that everything indicated in the household rider is timely delivered to the room and dressing rooms.

After the first concert, arranged thanks to your efforts, is left behind, think about whether you have enough material opportunities and mental strength to do this further. If you think that everything will work out for you, register a legal entity in the tax service and continue your work as a concert agency.
