The volume of the description of the enterprise dictates the complexity, the scale of its activities and the business idea of ​​representing the organization. It is advisable to clearly show the management structure, list the units, provide a diagram of their subordination and interaction. In the description, it is necessary to evaluate all types of resources: equipment, inventories, intangible assets, borrowed and own funds.

When describing an enterprise, it is important to emphasize the main goals of its activities. At the same time, goals are understood as projected results of work. Goals define and set the specifics of the business. Goals can be economic and social, in time - short, medium and long-term. They should be measurable, linked to resources, the position of the enterprise in the market and necessarily feasible. Specific goals should be expressed in quantitative terms - for sales, income, profit (in%), growth rates of production of goods, services. It is recommended to list the companies, organizations with which formal and informal relations have been established regarding the supply of raw materials, marketing of products, cooperation in the field of lending, auditing, etc.
