Many businessmen in Russia complain about the difficulties associated with starting and running a business. Of course, some of the problems of this kind are "international", but there are purely Russian nuances that make life difficult for entrepreneurs. The presence of these problems inhibits not only the development of specific undertakings, but also the entire economy of the country, therefore their solution is an important state task.

At all times and in all countries, entrepreneurs have experienced certain difficulties in doing business. In some cases, these problems were related to crime, in others to aggressive state policy, and in the third to lack of personnel and unskilled management.

Features of business in Russia

As for the Russian Federation, the very concept of business appeared here relatively recently, because after perestroika and a change in the political system, a little over two decades have passed. Naturally, the formation of sustainable business models with an eye on national characteristics is not yet complete. In addition, the economic situation in the state could only be called stable in the past few years, and until then the country was experiencing financial crises and political upheavals, which especially affected small and medium-sized businesses.

Only two percent of its inhabitants consider Russia to be a favorable country for starting its own business. For comparison, in America, this figure is close to seventy percent.

Today, entrepreneurs themselves highlight several key problems that impede the successful development of a business. Paradoxically, but first of all, businessmen complain about the lack of trained and qualified employees, which forces them to spend additional funds on staff training. The second place in the list of difficulties is occupied by a weakly controlled rise in prices for goods and services. In conditions of unpredictable inflation, it is difficult to conduct business, take loans, build financial forecasts and plan long-term investments.
