How to add type of activity at LLC

The activity of the company, which is active, does not always correspond to the initial intentions of its founders. Very often, commercial organizations change the profile of their activities, supplement it with new types of income generation. Adding activities is subject to state registration, and if you decide to add any activities, you need to notify the tax office about this using a special application form.

Select the OKVED codes to include them in the application. The code cannot be less than three digits. It is better to foresee possible changes in the types of activities in the future, so that you do not have to add economic activities again.

If the Articles of Association of the LLC contain specific information on the types of activities carried out, then it is necessary to amend the Articles of Association, adding to it the types of activities that the LLC plans to engage in. To do this, hold a general meeting to raise the issue of changing the charter. Following the meeting, it is necessary to prepare a protocol with a decision on making appropriate changes. In the event that many types of activity are entered into the Charter or there is an indefinite wording, such as, for example, "and other types of commercial activity permitted by Russian law, " it is not necessary to amend the charter.

Prepare the application in the prescribed form for the tax office. You will also need the following documents: a list of new activity codes (it is submitted in free form), the Charter as amended, TIN and PSRN, copies of passports of all LLC participants, an extract from the register certified by a notary. In the event that amendments are made to the charter, payment of the state duty for the addition of OKVED is also required.

Hand over the documents to the registration authority. According to current legislation, you can submit documents in person or send them by mail. The changes will be registered within seven business days, and you will receive a document confirming the registration of the addition of activities. It should be remembered that you can start commercial activity in a new direction by law only after new OKVED codes for your types of activity are entered in the State Register.
