Biography of Samvel Karapetyan

Samvel Sarkisovich was born in Armenia, in the small village of Kalinino (Tashir - since 1995), in August 1965. The family of the future billionaire was average, humanitarian - his father worked as a school principal, and his mother was a teacher of foreign languages.

Being the son of respected people, the young man cannot let them down; he studied at the school, and then at the Polytechnic Institute of Yerevan, very well. Immediately after graduation, Karapetyan joined the enameled products factory, first as the chief technologist, and then became its director.

Samvel began to develop his own business in 1997, after the acquisition of the loss-making company Kalugaglavsnab and the formation of a holding in the Tashir construction and industrial sector. Thanks to the thoughtful and detailed planning, including economic management, the company has developed rapidly.

In just 3 years, the holding included not only enterprises of a narrow focus, but also hotel complexes, organizations for the supply and marketing of all types of goods, shopping and entertainment centers, energy-type assets.

Since 2000, the Tashir Karapetyan Charity Fund has been operating, which provides assistance in the creation and development of sports facilities, medicine, helps to preserve and restore historical monuments in Armenia and Russia, and provides social support to those who are in difficult situations.
