Carlos Ghosn was born on March 5, 1964. He is a Lebanese Christian by origin. Carlos graduated in 1974 from the chemistry department of the Polytechnic School in Paris, and in 1978 from the Higher Mining School. Interestingly, one of the most successful managers has no financial education.

In 1978, he began working at Michelin. At that time, the concern was in a deep crisis. For several years, Carlos managed to do the almost impossible: the company again began to make a profit to its owners.

In 1996, a successful manager moved to work for Renault as Executive Vice President. During this time, Carlos managed to turn a loss-making company into a prosperous one.
