If you plan to conduct retail trade on your own, the best form is private enterprise. However, when the plans involve several employees, it is advisable to create a legal entity.
Before you engage in retail trade in food, you need to decide on the legal form of doing business. Trading activities on the territory of Ukraine can be carried out by both enterprises and individuals-entrepreneurs. Choosing the right form for yourself, you need to consider many factors: the number of partners, the number of employees, the scale of the business, etc.
It is also necessary to have a clear idea of where the trade will take place. It can be a market counter, a kiosk or a stationary outlet. In any case, the object of trade involves the presence of title documents. This can be a lease or a certificate of ownership.

In Ukraine, there are two tax systems: general and simplified. General means the payment by enterprises and entrepreneurs of a number of taxes. The simplified system assumes the existence of a single tax, which is levied monthly either in a fixed amount or as a percentage of revenue. However, for single tax payers there are restrictions on the annual turnover of revenue and the number of employees.
