How to certify production

Mandatory certification of goods produced and imported into Russia was recently canceled. Now the quality of products sold depends on the honesty of the seller, however, some companies that value their own reputation prefer to conduct research and certify products voluntarily.

Obtaining a certificate of product quality takes place in several stages. First, on behalf of the company, submit a declaration application for certification to the Rossertification Certification Center for named product samples (the manufacturer is indicated, general characteristics and description of the product, its article number, etc.).

Wait for your application to be considered and select a testing laboratory convenient for you, where they will draw up a program and write down the certification methodology, take samples, and take samples. For some time, as a rule, at least a month, products will be tested, their condition analyzed in various environments, etc. Then the results will be analyzed and the head of the center will decide on the possibility of issuing you a certificate of quality or compliance. If you receive a positive response, you can claim to receive the Mark of Conformity.

Issue a certificate and register it in the State Register of GOST R Certification Systems. After making entries in the database and assigning a number, the applicant will be issued a certificate of conformity for the production of certified products or a quality system.

The last item is the inspection control over the stability of certified characteristics (parameters) of products, certified production, and a certified quality system (if this is provided for by the product certification scheme). This procedure provides for the regular examination of certified goods and services by employees of the regulatory body.
