How to talk about your company

In order to establish as many partnerships as possible, you must regularly participate in exhibitions, conferences and other similar events. These places are best suited for the presentation of the company, its services, as well as the search for new customers and partners. However, it should be borne in mind that the maximum that you can do is be remembered by the potential patner. And that is why your goal is to be remembered from a good side.

Start your presentation with the name of the company and briefly describe its activities. It’s best if the whole description actually includes just a few words, for example: “Horns and Hooves LLC. Horns, deer and roe hoofs.” Your task is to create comfortable communication, interest the interlocutor, and blindly doing this is problematic.

Give the floor to the interlocutor. Ask him as much as possible about the company. Pay special attention to what goods and services his company needs in the here and now, take note of those prospects that he will designate for you, and those that he may not see.

Start presenting your company only after you find out what exactly they are looking for. Tell us briefly about what and for whom you are producing, tell about high-profile projects and large customers, if there are none, then use only the description of those services that may be of interest to him. In no case do not sell services - he must make a conclusion about their usefulness himself.

Accompany the presentation with the handout you brought with you for clarity. Use it to illustrate your activities and so that your potential partner understands more clearly what exactly your organization is.
