Instruction manual

1

Calculate the actual cost - this means to summarize all production and non-production costs spent on manufacturing products, as well as to find out their structure. To do this, take a cost estimate for production, which includes all types of costs for the period of production of a unit of production.

2

Start calculating costs by summing up the costs of basic materials and raw materials, components and purchased semi-finished products, energy spent during the manufacturing process, containers, spare parts needed for repairs, fuel. Calculate these material costs based on acquisition prices, taking into account insurance premiums and customs payments.

3

Summarize all labor costs of production employees. These costs are the sum of the salaries paid during the production process, salary supplements, processing supplements, bonuses, social contributions to pension, medical and social insurance funds.

4

Summarize all the costs of mastering new technologies or improving them during the manufacturing process.

5

Summarize all the costs of operating and replacing parts of equipment involved in the production, maintaining the core business of the enterprise, ensuring safety and environmental standards.

6

Summarize all other expenses, which are the sum of the costs of losses from marriage, general shop and factory costs.

7

Summarize all of the above costs in order to calculate the actual cost of production.

note

The actual cost of products manufactured to order can be calculated only after the completion of the order in full. Prior to this, all expenses will be work in progress.

Useful advice

It is most convenient to calculate the actual cost of small-scale products using average cost indicators for the period you are interested in relating to the total number of products of this type.
