How to produce plastic windows

Now windows from PVC profiles are in almost every apartment. This is due to the fact that plastic double-glazed windows have good sound insulation, protection from temperature and wind changes. With the right organization of production, the business of manufacturing plastic windows can be a profitable solution.

• - a saw with a disk for cutting metal;

• - single-head miter saw;

• - machine for milling;

• - electric drill;

• - copy milling machine;

• - welding machine;

• - a stand for installing double-glazed windows.

First cut the reinforcing profile. To do this, use special saws with blades for cutting metal. Cut the reinforcing profile at right angles.

Next, cut the PVC profile with a single-head or two-head miter saw. Impost profiles are cut at an angle of 90 degrees, with a margin on each side of up to 6 mm. The box profiles and sash profiles are cut at an angle of 45 degrees on both sides, with a margin of 5-6 mm in length for welding.

In the next step, make holes to drain water from under the double-glazed window, resulting from condensation. This can be done on a special milling machine or using an electric drill with a 5 mm drill sharpened in a special way. Make the grooves of the drain holes no more than 25 mm in length.

To strengthen the design of the window, insert the metal profile into the plastic and fasten with screws. Blow the profile with compressed air.

Make holes in the profile for fittings (locks, handles, etc.) with a copy-milling machine. Next, process the ends of the impost and the jumper that separates the glass.

The next step is to weld the workpieces into one structure. This is done on a welding machine at a knife temperature for welding 250 degrees. The seam should be white and uniform.

Insert handles, locks and imposts, rubber seals. Connect the sash and frame, install a double-glazed window. Set the pads for the double-glazed window as tightly as possible so that the double-glazed window and the sash form a rigid structure, otherwise the structure will sag. Cut the glazing bead - the element that fixes the glass in the frame.

After you adjust the fittings of the wings and carry out quality control of the product, the window structure can be installed.
