Suspension of the LLC’s activity is carried out when the functioning of the company ceases, however, a record of its existence in the state register is retained. A similar action can be carried out both externally and on the initiative of the founders.

To suspend the LLC’s activity on your own initiative, you need to do the following: Create an order, signed by the director or a person authorized to perform these functions, to suspend the company’s activities.

Notify by order of all employees about the situation. Take a letter of resignation from the workers or, if conflicts arise, a vacation without pay.

Write the application for such leave yourself. Issue appropriate orders to all personnel. Notify any authorities about this.

In order to maintain the status of an existing company, but simply to suspend the activity of an LLC, regularly prepare and submit reports to the appropriate services with zeros in the columns of turnover, income, expenses, etc. If you do not do this for twelve months, then, firstly, you will be subject to a large fine, and secondly, the company will be forced to close the tax office after a year.

If you leave the region of registration for a long time, provide a copy of the suspension order to the registration authority, that is, the Federal Tax Service. Arrange for zero reports with an intermediary. Make a prepayment of his services and inform your inspector about the person in charge.

In the case when you used electronic document management, through a tax office, find an agent authorized for such activities. Conclude a service agreement with him and pay for them.

Leave the bank account untouched in any case, so that the absence of activity is not fictitious due to unexpected turnovers. To do this, send a letter to the bank. Performing all the procedures described will allow you to keep your company in the desired status.
