Find out if you and your employees are qualified to carry out such work. The head of the organization must have a higher or secondary specialized technical education, as well as at least five years of experience in the field related to technical support of fire safety. Those people who will directly supervise the work should also have at least three years of experience.

Gather the necessary documents to obtain a license. Remove copies from the certificate of registration of your organization, its entry in the register of companies, as well as from the notification of registration with the tax authority. Assure the resulting additional copies to a notary public. You will need a copy of the charter, if provided by your organization.

Document your qualifications. To do this, attach a copy of your diploma and work book. You will also need to prove that you have the right equipment for the job.

Pay the license fee. For 2012, it is 2600 rubles. You can find out the details for payment on the website of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, in the information section on its territorial bodies. Add to the collected documents the payment order for which you paid the fee.

Appear with all the documents to your regional branch of the Ministry of Emergencies. On the spot, according to the samples, write a statement about your desire to obtain a license to install an OPS. After that, transfer all the papers to the organization employee. Wait for a decision on your question, it can take up to two months. After that, you can get a license and start the desired activity.
