How to get state support

You can get state support in the form of a subsidy for the development of small business in almost every region of the Russian Federation. The maximum size of the allocated amount depends and the requirements for applicants depend on the specific subject of the Federation. Usually it is provided to enterprises and entrepreneurs, from the moment of state registration of which no more than 1 or 2 years have passed.

All conditions for the provision of state support must be found in your regional agency for the development of entrepreneurship. This information can be presented on its website or the website of the local government (department) of economic development. The maximum amount of subsidies in different regions ranges from 250 thousand to 400 thousand rubles.

Among the requirements for applicants, there may be restrictions on the types of activities, goals for which money will be spent (for example, for the purchase of fixed assets), the presence of the founder of the company or entrepreneur in the past at the employment center, the completion of a course on entrepreneurship, the presence of own funds to finance the project, etc.

If you meet all the criteria, collect the necessary supporting documents. Requirements for them will be reported to you by consultants of the agency.

You should consult with them on writing a business plan (it will be the basis for deciding whether to allocate state support to you, and the main criterion for your intended use of the funds received).

If possible, get a manual on how to create this document. Show the draft version to an agency consultant, listen carefully to the comments. Modify the business plan and show it to the agency employees until it is finally approved by them.

Submit the finished package of documents to the agency or directly to the office or department of economic development, depending on the procedure adopted in your region.

The process for reviewing business plans also varies by region. In some cases, it is enough to submit the document itself for analysis to the Department of Economic Development. In others, you will have to defend your project before the commission: make a presentation, demonstrate product samples if available, answer questions.

After a positive decision and receipt of money, do not forget that after a year you will have to report for every penny from the allocated funds. So you should not spend them on goals that are not prescribed in the business plan.
