The status of a representative office of a foreign company in Ukraine allows it to receive a number of customs and tax benefits. The representative office does not have to have at its disposal the authorized capital and obtain a permit for employment of non-residents of this country.

Prepare all the necessary documents for submission to the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine, namely: - certificate of registration of your company; - certificate from the bank (original with a certified signature of the bank employee who issued the certificate); - power of attorney for representative functions in Ukraine issued to a specific person, indicating the authority of the representative; - information about the authorized representative. The Ministry of Economy of Ukraine may require other documents, depending on the scope of your activity and business interests in the territory of oh country.

Contact a notary public to ensure that all documents are translated into Ukrainian. Check that the data in the original and the copy match.

Submit all the documents you have with the application to the Ministry of Economy. Make a statement on the official letterhead of your company. It should indicate: - the name of the company and the date of its foundation; - address, contact phone numbers, fax and e-mail; - the scope of the company; - the name of the city in which you intend to open a representative office; - the number of non-resident employees Ukraine; - the name of the bank and account number; - the purpose of opening and the scope of the representative office; - information on business cooperation with Ukrainian partners; - information on the prospective prospects of cooperation. The application must be signed by the general director of the company ii, and his signature is notarized.

For paperwork, a fee is charged in the amount established by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine. Registration deadline is 60 business days from the date of submission of documents. After receiving a certificate of registration as a foreign representative, contact the tax and customs services of Ukraine for registration.
