How to open an individual business

To register as an individual entrepreneur is entitled to any Russian, except for representatives of a number of areas of activity, or a foreigner who has permission to stay in the country for a long time. To do this, submit the necessary documents to the tax package.

If you do not know the inspection you should contact, clarify this question in your district inspection, regional Federal Tax Service or on the website of the Federal Tax Service of Russia using the service for searching the Federal Tax Service. If you have a separate registration inspection in your area, you should contact it. Otherwise, at the Federal Tax Service Inspectorate serving your registration address at the place of residence.

In many regions, a paper application form for registration of IP can be taken in tax. But not at all. In addition, the electronic application form downloaded on the Internet is convenient in that it can be completed on a computer and printed.

Fill in only those columns that are relevant to you. Do not write anything in sections intended for a notary public and tax officer.

Select OKVED codes according to the current reference book, which can be easily found on the Internet. If there is not enough space allotted for them, copy the blank page intended for the codes and paste in the document the required number of times.

Be the first to write your main activity. The rest are in random order. If there is no code that accurately describes your activity, take the one that is closest in meaning.

Do not rush to sign under the completed application. Do this in the presence of a notary public who must certify your signature.

Staple the application sheets together. On the back, at the place of their connection, stick paper indicating their quantity, date and your signature.

Pay the state fee through Sberbank. You can take the receipt with the details from the tax inspectorate (just keep in mind that you need the details of the registration inspectorate if this is not your territorial issue), find this information on the website of the regional Federal Tax Service or use the payment order generation service (you can generate and cash receipt by selecting the desired option) on the website of the Federal Tax Service of Russia.

Give the finished package of documents to the tax office and after five working days come there for a certificate of state registration of individual entrepreneurs and an extract from the Unified State Register of Individual Entrepreneurs (USRIP).
