How to open a private business

To open a private business, one desire is not enough. You need to have either a specific education or start-up capital. If necessary, attend at least courses to acquire minimum professional knowledge.

Having made the final decision, prepare a package of necessary documents for registration as an individual entrepreneur. It includes a statement in the form of Р21001, your tax identification number (TIN), passport data and a receipt on payment of state duty for registration of IP.

Verify the signature on the application in form P21001 with a notary.

Submit a package of documents to the tax. The inspector must inform you of the procedure for further actions - the deadlines for making a seal, obtaining Goskomstat codes, opening a bank account, reporting this to the tax office. They must be strictly observed. Otherwise, fines are threatened.

Registration is carried out within five business days. During this time, decide which tax system you will apply, general, UTII or simplified (USN). Everything will depend on your chosen activity.

If you plan to use the simplified tax system, file an application no later than three days from the date of state registration as an individual entrepreneur.
