The choice of the type of economic activity is a rather responsible task for the newly created enterprise. Indeed, the taxation regime and, consequently, the size of tax deductions depend on this. Therefore, try to approach the issue quite seriously.

Remember that the main goal of creating an enterprise is to profit from one or more types of economic activity. Usually, participants agree on the implementation of 2-3 types of activities. They follow from the initial idea of creating a business and should bring a steady income. But there are situations when the founders' ideas about the types of activities of the enterprise vary greatly. For the correct positioning of the company on the market, there is an All-Russian Classifier of Economic Activities (OKVED). Thanks to him, you can accurately determine the types of activities of the enterprise. When choosing activities, consider the maximum range of opportunities for the future organization, but do not overdo it.

Please note that in accordance with the legislation, economic activity takes place directly when resources are combined in the production process, as a result of which products (work, services) are produced. In this connection, the main, auxiliary and secondary activities are distinguished.

When determining the types of economic activity, remember that the main activity will be the type of activity from which your company will receive maximum profit. Secondary activities also allow the company to earn income, but already to a lesser extent. Supporting activities are those aimed at providing or facilitating the first two types.

Choosing the types of activity for your enterprise, do not forget that there can be any number of them. But at the same time, the main one will stand out among all, it will be recorded first. It depends on him the choice of the tax system. All other codes will be considered optional. You will submit reports, also relying on the main activity.
