Types of business incubators in Russia

Start-up entrepreneurs who are under the wing of the state, as a rule, are called residents of business incubators. Such non-profit institutions today are created in all regions of the country, however, not all of them start-ups manage to get easily and simply.

Conditionally existing incubators for business can be divided into three types:

1. production

2. scientific (or innovative),

3. general incubators.

Production business incubators are focused on companies that are engaged in the direct release of products under their own brand or with a registered trade name. A few years ago, the state, which considered the economic potential in small and medium-sized businesses, invested billions of rubles to equip such business incubators. Today, many of them are production facilities with premises of various kinds, including equipped laboratories, test shops, and scientific and semi-scientific staff to help young entrepreneurs. Such an incubator, for example, works in the science city of Biysk.

Innovative business incubators should incubate enterprises and organizations that offer the market a novelty, i.e., solving a consumer request in a way that has not been previously applied. This is partly an easy profanity, however, quite viable companies sometimes come out of such ones. A classic example is Skolkovo. Huge business incubator.

The general business incubator is the most unpretentious. For the most part, this is a set of office premises with computers and telephones.

These premises are leased to entrepreneurs, whose business has not existed for another three years, at a reduced rental rate. In addition to the premises, an overseer is issued, who at best is called a "mentor" and who knows something about business. Most often, a startup manager oversees startups, who shakes the business plan performance indicators on a quarterly basis and rents on a monthly basis.

There are still student and international incubators. For example, in Barnaul there is a Russian-Chinese youth business incubator, and a student at Moscow State University works great in the capital.
