How to fill out a fire safety journal

Every enterprise and every organization should have a fire safety briefing book. Representatives of the Ministry of Emergencies usually conduct briefings with employees, but, in principle, sometimes employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs or even safety engineers or officials can do this. How to fill out such a magazine?

Familiarize yourself with Order No. 645 of 12.12.2007 (Appendix 1), in accordance with which the fire safety training manuals are filled out. Such briefings are held regularly in order to bring to the attention of employees the current fire safety requirements and their actions in the event of a fire occurrence or detection.

If the company and the organization have developed their own special training programs for fire safety measures, then the briefing will be carried out directly by the head of this institution or an authorized official. In any case, the head (or other official) should be familiar with the mandatory fire-technical minimum. Please note: it is not necessary to register such programs with the fire authorities.

According to the time and nature of the training, the briefing can be:

- introductory;

- primary (or primary in the workplace);

- target;

- repeated;

- unscheduled.

An appropriate entry in the journal must be made about any kind of briefing.

The number of magazines is not limited and depends on the size of the staff and the organizational structure of your institution. Magazines must be properly designed, laced, numbered and sealed with the seal of the organization or enterprise. If your institution has several units, then each of them should have its own journal.

Indicate the sequence number of the briefing in the first column, and the date of the training in the second. The third column is reserved for indicating the date of approval of the current instruction and its entry into force. In the fourth column, you will need to indicate the type of briefing. After that, indicate the code and number of the instruction (or its name) and the terms for its revision (planned). The last two columns indicate the position and name of the instructor, and put his signature.

Useful advice

All employees of the enterprise are allowed to work only after passing a fire training, and when changing the specifics of work or regulatory documents on fire safety, they undergo additional training in the manner established by the head. The persons responsible for carrying out the fire briefings shall be recorded in the journal with the mandatory signature of the instructed and instructed.
