Being a republic located in a single economic space with Russia, Belarus recently lifted almost all restrictions on the export of consumer goods outside its borders. Until that moment, the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus in 2011 adopted Resolution No. 755 "On measures to protect the consumer market." As a result, six types of goods were banned from exporting by individuals from the territory of the state. In addition, a limit was set for nine types of goods, for the excess of which a special fee was charged in the amount of a double average price.

It was possible to withdraw these goods in larger quantities, but then it was necessary to pay a fee, which is twice the average price of these goods in size.

By a decree of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus of February 15, 2012, all restrictions on the export of goods were lifted. All that remains is the restriction on duty-free export of fuel by individuals from the territory of the state (no more than 1 time in 8 days). It is regulated by Council of Ministers Resolution No. 753. The limit on the purchase of fuel in Belarus has been canceled, previously it was allowed to buy only up to 200 liters per transport unit.
