How to check a license in Ukraine

The Unified License Register as an automated system for collecting, accumulating and recording data related to licensing of entrepreneurial activities was created in Ukraine in 1997. Any organization or citizen of Ukraine can apply for information contained in the register.

The Unified License Register information is provided to users by mail, as well as using electronic communications. If you are not a representative of the authorities, you will have to pay the state fee for services in the prescribed amount.

If you want to check whether the entrepreneur was really licensed, ask him for a copy to check the availability of this document by number. If you do not know whether this license is issued or not, then in this case you can send a request specifying only the name of the organization

Indicate in the request (depending on what information you already have): - the name of the organization; - the license number; - the address and form of ownership of the organization. The request must also indicate the name of the applicant, his address and identification code.

Send a request for information from the Unified License Register in writing to the State Committee of Ukraine for Regulatory Policy and Entrepreneurship at 01011, Kiev, st. Arsenalnaya, 9/11.

Depending on the type of request and the amount of information found on request, you will receive the information you need within 30 days after you pay the bill sent to you by mail. If you are a representative of government agencies, all information will be provided to you as soon as possible.

Please contact the relevant ministry of Ukraine with a similar request. So, for example, if you want to find out if a university has a license where you are going to study, send an appeal to the Ministry of Education. And if you are going for treatment, ask if the clinic has a license issued by the Ministry of Health of Ukraine.
