How to get a store license

A store license is required if the assortment contains alcoholic or low alcohol products. In this case, quite serious requirements are imposed on the license applicant.

You will need

• - charter of a commercial company;

• - memorandum of association (if any);

• - certificate of state registration (OGRN);

• - certificate of registration with the tax service;

• - confirmation of the amount of the authorized capital issued by the bank;

• - lease / sublease agreement;

• - certificate of ownership;

• - conclusion of the Federal Service for Supervision of Consumer Rights Protection and Human Welfare;

• - a copy of the document on the payment of a fee for issuing a license.

When opening a store in which it is planned to carry out retail trade in alcoholic beverages and obtaining an appropriate license for a store, first of all, register a commercial company in one of the following legal forms: LLC, OJSC, ZAO.

Choose the right room, taking into account its location relative to schools, clinics, etc. (distance not less than 100 m) and total area (not less than 50 sq. M), conclude a lease (sublease) agreement. Estimate the authorized capital of your organization, for a small enterprise it should be at least 300, 000 rubles.

After that, proceed to the registration of the license, for which contact the Department of the consumer market and services and submit a package of documents consisting of:

- charter;

- memorandum of association (if any);

- certificate of state registration (PSRN);

- certificate of registration with the tax service;

- extracts from the unified state register of legal entities;

- confirmation of the amount of the authorized capital (issued by the bank);

- certificates of the absence of tax arrears (issued by the tax authority in which the Company is registered);

- leases / subleases, certificates of ownership;

- conclusions of the Rospotrebnadzor;

- documents of the Bureau of Technical Inventory;

- registration cards of cash registers;

- an order on the appointment of a leader;

- a document on the payment of a fee for the issuance of a license.

Consider asking for help from a professional law firm to license a store that sells alcohol products. Payment for the services of specialists is unlikely to be higher than the money spent on rent during the period of self-processing of all the documentation required for submission to the Department of Trade and Services.

And do not forget that the validity of the alcohol license you have received will be limited in time, and at least one month before the end of this period, submit documents for a license extension.
