Instruction manual

1

Carry out a marketing research yourself or order it at an agency. You must collect information on existing halls of different price categories, determine the size of the potential client audience, make a list of services that represent the fitness clubs of your city and region where you are going to open your own institution.

2

Make a business plan. Calculate the profitability of the future club and upcoming expenses. Decide if you will manage with the available funds or if you need a loan. An alternative option is to attract a partner or investor to the business.

3

Choose a niche in which you will work. You can open a fitness club designed for families with children, a hall oriented to men or, conversely, offering a wide range of services for women. The future price list depends on the concept of your club.

4

Find the right room. Depending on the chosen concept, the hall can be located in the city center or in the depths of the sleeping area. Family-oriented clubs should be located closer to the place of residence of potential clients, and it is better to open places where single girls and men will go in areas where there are many office centers.

5

Buy the necessary inventory. For the premium classroom you will need the latest fitness equipment, massage tables and, possibly, equipment for a sauna, Turkish bath or other water procedures. Economical "rocking" furnish easier. Do not buy too much - it is better to purchase the missing devices over time than to become the owner of simulators that have nowhere to install. If you don’t have enough money, consider buying used equipment or leasing it.

6

Hire trainers. A good trainer is the main bait for clients and the "golden fund" of any fitness center. Therefore, for a specialist brought in from a competing club, you have to pay, and a lot. If you are not ready for a "star" salary, grow super-trainers in your team. Hire a couple of promising newcomers, send them to courses, improve their skills.

7

Develop a system of bonuses for regular customers. Print discount (possibly even personalized) cards. Provide trial classes and substantial discounts to those who purchase a long-term, family or corporate membership. Take on a dietitian who can create nutritional programs suitable for one or another workout. The more popular services you offer customers, the more willing and more often they will go to your club.
