Gamification or gamification (from the English. Gamification, game - game) came to us from the West not so long ago. Its essence is to bring the elements of a computer game into various areas of human interaction and increase the level of satisfaction with one’s activities.

Gamification is expressed in the involvement of people to solve various problems / tasks and can be used not only in any programs and online resources, for example, training, but also in work / study. For performing certain actions, participants are given bonuses, a game currency that can be spent, for example, on the exclusion of one exam question, if we are talking about education, etc.

The process of performing actions most often is built on the likeness of a quest - a certain chain of tasks. Encouragement for players can be both for achieving specific goals before the end of the "game", or simply for completing a task stipulated by a quest after it ends.

In general, gamification provides an opportunity in a more or less relaxed atmosphere to achieve goals in the area where it was applied. However, it should be noted that any innovation is perceived by people differently. Gamification may work well for students, but completely fail among the older population. To prevent this from happening, the organizers of the activity using this approach need to understand what they want to achieve this, and clearly explain to the players the rules of the game, as well as its purpose.

Gamification today is common in commercial organizations abroad, its goal is to attract and retain customers. Simple routine actions do not cause consumers, for the most part, any positive feelings. To increase emotional involvement, organizations come up with various interactive tasks, encourage the interaction of customers and their sites with social networks, thereby increasing the consumption of goods and services.
