Meat products are food products that are subject to special and very strict requirements, and fines for non-compliance are very high, and the entrepreneur may even lose his license to trade in meat. The primary set of documents: the actual license to trade in foodstuffs, a general permit for financial activities and a permit from the SES service. In order to receive the first paper, you must contact the Licensing Chamber, which has branches in every city. But you should be aware that obtaining a permit is a rather long process and can take a whole year, and a large amount of papers will be required from an entrepreneur.

In the Licensing Chamber, the entrepreneur will definitely be asked for an application completed in the prescribed form (do not forget about prior approval in the local municipality), a copy of the registration of a legal entity (usually an IP or LLC), copies of the constituent documents of the enterprise with notarization. It is also necessary to remember that the application for a license should be signed only by the owner of the company. At the discretion of the staff and management of the Licensing Chamber, other documents may also be requested from you.

It is also quite possible the requirement to present the original certificate received by the tax service regarding the fact of registration of the entrepreneur. If you already have at your disposal some stocks or raw materials for future trade, then you will also need to get a priority certificate from the territorial office of Rospotrebnadzor. In the future, in accordance with established legislative norms, such permission must be obtained for each batch of products.

As for the documentation for the implementation of private entrepreneurial activity, then it should be addressed to the Office of one or another administrative district in whose territory the place of trade is located. Moreover, obtaining such permission is one-time: so, if before that you were selling meat products not of your own production and have already received such documents, you will not need to repeat this procedure.

By the way, at the SES, you will also be required to present medical books for each employee of the outlet where meat is sold, and any other food products.
