Before making a procurement plan for the next period, create an assortment of goods. To do this, conduct a study: find out which products are most in demand among buyers. Interrogate sellers and make lists of what understands faster. Plan to ship more of this product.

Conduct a survey among visitors. Hand out profiles and ask them to write down what goods are missing on the shelves. Let them indicate the brand and the approximate price for which they are ready to purchase this thing. Do it under the guise of a bonus promotion. Among those who filled out the forms, give away prizes. Give the winner a product discount card. Get sponsors from a vendor environment. They can organize a promotion inside the store.

Bring together the data. Make an assortment table. Create eight columns in it and as many rows as there are product names planned. Name the columns as follows: number in order, product name by register, manufacturing company, unit price, number of packages, lot price, notes. Write down useful information here: addresses and phone numbers of suppliers, delivery times, etc. Under the table write “total” and calculate the total amount.

When creating the table, try to present public goods and extra-class products there. Do not go in cycles in one producer, try to diversify the range. Take on the implementation of new brands. If the product is inexpensive and of high quality, new customers will come to the store.
