Product catalogs are created so that a potential buyer can easily choose a product they like and either order it or come in person. There are different types of directories, depending on the audience you are targeting. However, there are general rules, guided by which, you can easily create a catalog of the products that you want to sell.

First of all, keep in mind that although catalogs are published in large numbers, they are intended for long-term use. Therefore, they should be printed on glossy paper, the print should be full-color, and the cover should be hard. The first page of the catalog should contain the name of the catalog, release date, category of the product that it contains, and the name of your company.

If you sell products that are aimed at individuals and legal entities, and position it as the most economical solution, it is advisable to highlight the price of the product as brightly as possible and indicate them directly under the photo of the product. If you work with legal entities in such a way that you supply them with office supplies, keep in mind that in most cases, products are chosen by employees who do not need to know the price, so only specify the article number and name of the product with a photo.

The catalog should be systematized by category. The table of contents on them must be present both in print and electronic versions. In order to direct the user to buy a certain unit of goods, use markers such as “Customer choice”, “Best choice”, “Best price”, “Discount”, and the like. This will allow you to quickly get rid of surplus goods and provoke increased consumer interest in a particular brand.
