How to make soda

Both soda and adults love it. However, modern manufacturers often add various flavors and flavor enhancers to their carbonated drinks, which does not make soda useful. Therefore, many are interested in how to make such a drink at home.

Bit of theory

Home-made soda is prepared quite quickly and according to various recipes, and its main component is carbon dioxide CO2. It does not burn, has no color and smell, has a greater weight than air, and is easily soluble in water, giving it a slightly sour taste. Drinks in Soviet automatic machines with soda were made exactly like that - they contained a carbon dioxide cylinder, which was supplied under pressure to sweet water and dissolved in it.

Homemade soda can be done using cans filled with carbon dioxide, and a siphon, which is expensive, but still sold in stores.

If there is no siphon at hand, you need to prepare carbon dioxide yourself. It can be obtained from such improvised kitchen tools as vinegar and baking soda, when mixed, the necessary component is formed. So, to prepare homemade soda, you need to take two teaspoons of baking soda, seven tablespoons of vinegar (9%), a liter of water, two dark plastic bottles, two lids with holes and a meter PVC pipe.
