It is possible to terminate an employment contract concluded between an entrepreneur and his employee on the grounds stipulated by labor legislation. Such grounds are universal, that is, they are common to all cases of termination of employment and are contained in Art. 77 of the Labor Code of the Russian Federation.

An individual entrepreneur may say goodbye to an employee in connection with the expiration of the labor agreement, at the request of the employee, on the initiative of the entrepreneur, or by their joint agreement.

In addition, the employee may not wish to move with the employer to another locality or transfer to another position due to the reduction of the old one, which is also the reason for his dismissal.

If an employee has decided to quit at his own request, he must notify the employer in writing 14 calendar days before the date of dismissal.

Dismissing an employee on the initiative of an employer-employer is possible only in cases provided for in art. 81 of the Labor Code of the Russian Federation. All grounds for dismissal at the initiative of the employer can be divided into two groups: for misconduct, for example, absenteeism, theft at work, etc. and grounds for dismissal, not related to disciplinary offenses of the employee, for example, closure of IP.

Under no circumstances can an employee be fired while on vacation or on sick leave.

The entrepreneur must issue an order to terminate the employment contract in a unified form No. T-8. Such an order should contain the grounds for dismissal with reference to an article of the Labor Code of the Russian Federation and a document on the basis of which an order is issued, for example, a statement by an employee, a medical report, a report, etc.

In addition, the entrepreneur must make an entry in his personal card, issue a work book with a record of dismissal and make settlements with the employee.
