The types of activities for which certification of Assay supervision is required include the production, storage and trading of precious metals and jewelry, the cutting of precious stones, the activities of jewelry pawnshops, the minting of commemorative coins and award marks of precious metals. Before registering in the Assay Supervision, register with the tax office, receive a certificate of registration in the unified state register and register your company with extrabudgetary funds.

Prepare the room where the jewelry production will be located. Equip it with a safe or set aside a special safe room for storing precious metals, stones and products. Safes can be replaced by installing a modern alarm system. Purchase equipment and tools, as well as high-class precision scales.

Prepare the package of documents that you must provide to the Assay Supervision. Write a request for a special certificate addressed to the head of the territorial assay supervision office. Attach to it a package of documents, which includes a list of types of work of your company that require special permission, documents confirming your right to engage in entrepreneurial activity.

As annexes to the application, issue notarized copies of the charter, PSRN, TIN, changes made to the charter; ordinary copies: an information letter from the statistical authorities with a list of types of economic activity, a memorandum of association or a decision of the general meeting on the creation of an organization, a protocol of the meeting or an order to appoint a leader. Assure these copies with the seal of the enterprise. Please also attach a copy of the lease of the premises or certificate of ownership of it. The package of documents should contain a certificate of your company, which indicates its full name, bank details, postal and legal address, contact numbers and fax.

Within two weeks after submitting the application for registration, you will receive a duly executed certificate of special registration. It is valid 5 years from the date of issue. Begin your activity, given that even under favorable circumstances, the cost of it will pay off no earlier than after 3 years.
